Event Description:

Thanks for attending our German American Forum on Energy Storage and Smart Grids!

The conference, which took place on October 29th, 2019 at the German House in New York City offered an interesting exchange of approaches and know-how from both sides of the Atlantic and in-depth insights into the German and US market.

Experts from Germany and the US were invited to present their ideas and plans in order to strengthen international knowledge transfer and to discuss ways to cooperate. Attendees of the conference learned about the latest trends, business models and market opportunities in the sector and met with the German companies individually to discuss potential synergies.
The full-day conference was part of a delegation trip for selected German companies from the Energy Storage and Smart Grids Industry in New York.

The increased usage of renewable energies in our economies leads to a number of important challenges: How to successfully integrate renewable energy sources into our power grids and how to deploy renewable energy sources as efficiently as possible, were among the most pressing questions in this regard. New technologies and solutions in the fields of energy storage and smart grids offer interesting new options.

The event thus focused on technologies and solutions in the fields of smart grids and energy storage. As part of the forum, a German delegation presented their latest solutions and technologies to contribute to the development of more flexible power grids and more efficient energy storage possibilities. Germany has been known for decades as a leader in renewable energy technologies. The event targeted professionals, researchers and thought leaders in the fields of energy storage, power grids, demand response solutions, clean tech and renewable energy.
