Would you like to learn how sports teams and corporations can establish meaningful projects with direct social impact? We asked two German subsidiaries in the US and an american software company to talk about their success stories on how to collaborate with sports team and how to leverage existing sponsorship's in the US. Our speakers represent Evonik and Borussia Dortmund who elaborate on their successful Soccer Academy, Infor talks about the Barclay's Center and the Nets and Mast-Jaegermeister shares insights on their newly established cooperation with the NHL. You can expect keynotes, fireside chats and a great networking opportunity for all professionals working on brand awareness and strategysocial responsibility,employer branding and partnerships. 

For all soccer fans we are happy to announce that former BVB Dortmund and German national team player Patrick Owomoyela will attend the event as well.
 
Our Speakers 

 
       John Rolando, President, Evonik Corporation 
John is responsible for the North American activities of Evonik
Industries AG, including the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He has spent over 25 years at the company around the world. Previously, Rolando was president, North America, of the
company’s Performance Polymers Business Unit. He served in this capacity since 2005. Rolando joined the company in 1987 and has held various marketing and management positions including global Vice President of Marketing for Feed Additives in Germany. 

 
   Thea Hoffmeister, Head of USA, Borussia Dortmund
Thea joined the International | Commercial & New Business Team at Borussia Dortmund in June 2016 to focus on commercial opportunities and business development for the German Football Club in international markets. In addition to the coordination of international sales activities, she oversees and controls the BVB brand development in the US market since the club’s market entry in 2018. Formerly, Thea worked for CAA Sports GmbH in Munich on the BMW Golfsport Account, among other positions in the golf sport industry.

 
       James Toomey, Vice President, Head of Digital Transformation, Infor 
James is Head of Digital at Infor and leads the global Hook & Loop Digital Group. With a proven track record of capability-building to drive business growth, James is an experienced practitioner and passionate believer in the power of technology, experience design, and brand strategy to deliver on an organization’s business growth objectives…spanning Operational Excellence, Customer and Employee Engagement, and Network Partner Capabilities. An expert in ideating and mapping business growth and digital capabilities, he has worked extensively with a wide variety of brands and organizations from Fortune 100 to start-ups for 20+ years.
 
                                                                                                                                                             Charles Littlefield, Sr. Director Brand Marketing, Mast-Jägermeister US, Inc.
Charles is the Senior Director of Marketing for Jägermeister in the US, overseeing brand equity, communication and media strategy, as well as field marketing and sponsorships, the largest of which is the NHL. Over the last fifteen years Charles has worked across commercial, strategy, and brand management assignments on various global and local brands across, beverages and consumer staples. He holds a BS ILR from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. 
       Michael Guth, General Manager and SVP of Marketing Partnerships at The Madison Square Garden Company

In his role, Michael is responsible for overseeing, planning and directing and executing all Marketing Partnerships across the Company portfolio, which includes the New York Rangers and the New York Knicks; iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and the LA Forum and advertising for regional sports networks MSG and MSG Plus.

Most recently, he served as COO of Opry Entertainment Group, where he oversaw all operations at the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium and WSM 650 AM, including the retail, food & beverage and marketing departments. He led that company to record revenues through his strategic and innovative growth plan. Previously, Previously, Michael held senior roles at both Turner and Coca-Cola.
