Doing business with the United Nations offers great potential. In 2016, the UN organizations procured for a total of more than USD 17 billion.

For the 5th time at the German Mission in New York, centrally located across the street from UN Headquarters, the German American Chamber of Commerce and the German Mission to the UN organize a UN Procurement Seminar exclusively for German companies, providing unique possibilities for one-on-one meetings with UN Procurement staff.

This seminar will concentrate on procurement from UN organizations based in New York: UNPD, UNDP, UNICEF, UNOPS and UNFPA.

The main focus will be on the following areas:

  • Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
  • Safety & Security (force protection, camp protection and persistent surveillance)
  • Water (waste treatment systems, water purification technologies, and solutions to collect rainwater and atmospheric water)
  • Energy
  • Shelter and accommodation solutions

Procurement and technical staff from each organization will be present, and as a special service, staff will be available for one-on-one meetings during the event.
