Event Description:
The German American Forum on Energy Storage and Smart Grids will take place on Tuesday, October 29th, 2019 at the German House in New York City. Hosted by the German American Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the German Consulate General New York, the forum will offer an opportunity for experts from Germany and local US innovators to discuss ways to cooperate.

The increased usage of renewable energies in our economies leads to a number of important challenges: How to successfully integrate renewable energy sources into our power grids and how to deploy renewable energy sources as efficiently as possible, are among the most pressing questions in this regard. New technologies and solutions in the fields of energy storage and smart grids offer interesting new options.

The event will thus be focused on technologies and solutions in the fields of smart grids and energy storage. As part of the forum, a German delegation will present their latest solutions and technologies to contribute to the development of more flexible power grids and more efficient energy storage possibilities. Germany has been known for decades as a leader in renewable energy technologies. The event targets professionals, researchers and thought leaders in the fields of energy storage, power grids, demand response solutions, clean tech and renewable energy.
