Event Description:

From May 4–7, 2026, the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. in New York, on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWE), will organize a delegation trip for UN procurement officers to the IFAT trade fair in Munich (press release).

The 4-day delegation trip is exclusively organized for UN buyers from the environmental technology sector.

The program provides:

  • Insight into the German environmental technology market

  • Exposure to innovative products and latest developments

  • Opportunities to network with German companies and industry experts

A key highlight of the trip is the seminar “How to Do Business with the UN”, aimed at German environmental technology companies.

Participants will:

  • Learn about the UN procurement systems

  • Understand international tendering opportunities

  • Connect directly with UN procurement officers
