From May 4-7, 2026, the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. in New York, on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWE), will organize a delegation trip for UN procurement officers to the IFAT trade fair in Munich (press release).

The 4-day delegation trip is exclusively organized for UN buyers from the environmental technology sector.

The program provides:

  • Insight into the German environmental technology market

  • Exposure to innovative products and latest developments

  • Opportunities to network with German companies and industry experts

A key highlight of the trip is the seminar “How to Do Business with the UN”, aimed at German environmental technology companies. Participants will learn about the UN procurement system and tender opportunities, and will have the chance for one-on-one meetings with UN procurement officers.
