Event Description:

The German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. hosted a virtual German delegation trip with a focus on offshore wind energy.

Part of the program was a virtual transatlantic conference, offering an opportunity for experts from Germany and local US innovators to discuss ways to cooperate.

The event focused on technologies and solutions in the fields of offshore wind energy from both sides of the Atlantic. The increased usage of renewable energies in our economies leads to a number of important challenges: The successful expansion of offshore wind energy capacities on the East Coast of the US, is among the most pressing questions in this regard.

As part of the virtual forum, a German delegation presented their latest solutions, technologies and services to contribute to the development of more offshore wind energy capacities on the East Coast. Germany has been known for decades as a leader in renewable energy technologies. The event targeted professionals, researchers and thought leaders in the fields of offshore wind energy and renewable energy.
