Event Description:

The German American Chamber of Commerce in New York, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy, is organizing a virtual delegation trip for UN buyers from the Healthcare Sector between November 9-16, 2021.

Healthcare is an important industry in Germany and shows above-average growth rates compared to the German economy as a whole. Specifically, the medical technology industry in Germany is an important and steadily growing cornerstone and is considered to be particularly innovative, fast-growing and promising.

The virtual program for UN procurement officers is intended to inform the decision-makers of the UN about the German medical industry in general as well as introduce the UN procurement system to participating German companies. The aim is also to motivate German companies to register on the UN Global Marketplace (UNGM) and participate in UN tenders.
