Event Description:
Whether advising clients, attracting new business, or leading organizations, the voice is the most powerful means of persuasion. It can be the difference between winning and losing. Without a proper understanding of what makes a compelling performance, the speaker may miss the opportunity to make a memorable impression or, worse of all, turn an audience off completely. Without a commanding vocal performance, the message is lost when the audience loses interest or even leaves the room.
In this session, Melina will share some of her experiences and techniques on how to improve your public speaking and vocal presentation skills.
About Melina Bruhn
Melina Bruhn is a vocal & performance coach (bilingual - English & German): as an international recording- and voiceover artist, actress, performer, her own concert & event producer and public speaker, Melina helps her clients understand and maximize the impact of their vocal performances. Whether a 10,000-seat arena or a corporate boardroom, she focuses on helping her clients connect with the audience with their speaking voice. Melina’s work experience in both the entertainment- and business world gives her the insight into the issues business people face. She readies her clients to 'hit the stage' by developing the style and structure of their voice and integrating it into their message. Her coaching includes proper preparation, warm-ups, vocal exercises and vocal care, with an emphasis on breathing, diction, posture, presence, movement and audience connection techniques. The goal is for the client to use their vocal presentation skills to engage, impress, convince, and inspire an audience.
