From May 4–7, 2026, the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. in New York (GACC NY), on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWE), will organize a delegation trip for UN procurement officers to the IFAT trade fair in Munich (press release).

The 4-day delegation trip is exclusively organized for UN buyers from the environmental technology sector. 

A key highlight of the trip is the seminar “How to Do Business with the UN”, aimed at German environmental technology companies.

To prepare participants and interested companies for the seminar GACC NY is organizing a webinar covering the basics of doing business with the UN. Topics include the structure of the UN procurement system and how to register on the official tender platform UNGM, which is a prerequisite for participating in any tender opportunities
