German Language School New York at UNIS

We offer German language classes for children from pre-school through high school, as well as adult classes. Classes are on Saturday mornings from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at UNIS, located in Manhattan.

Courses run in both the Fall and Spring Semesters, and we prepare students for the following recognized German language exams:

AATG Exam – Administered by the American Association of Teachers of German.

IVA (Internationale Vergleichsarbeiten) – Offered by the Central Agency for German Schools Abroad; provides certification at A1 & A2 levels.

DSD I (A2/B1) – Proof of German proficiency for entrance into German Studienkollegs.

DSD II (B2/C1) – Proof of language proficiency for admission to German universities.

AP German Exam – We offer dedicated preparation, and our students take the exam at a partnered high school.
